The Centre d’Art de Richmond is a non-profit organisation aiming to make music and the arts accessible to the public. Its main activity is the presentation of professional music programming which, each year, is carefully chosen to appeal to all age groups and musical preferences. The Centre d’Art de Richmond aims to showcase the richness of the region through culture to achieve a development and an influence across the MRC du Val-Saint-François. The music training component of the musical school is funded by the ministère de la Culture et des Communications. For the last 35 years, young and less young have taken professional music training. Each year, the centre holds visual arts exhibitions. The center has a professional stage seating 198 people: Salle Patrick-Quinn, acknowledged by the Conseil des arts et lettres du Québec. The stage is equipped with a professional sound and light system. Its exceptional acoustics, the quality of the shows presented and its intimate character give it an excellent reputation. Several types of shows including classical music and plays can be presented without amplification. All artists succumb to the charm of our intimate venue.
